Clara Bernardi- Artistic Vita
My philosophy
"What nourishes man, his soul and his spirit? This central question has accompanied me since the beginning of my professional career and impressively shapes my artistic identity. In my work, I strive to make visible the connection between people's inner needs and the outer world. For me, art becomes a medium through which I can explore and communicate these deep questions of life."
Born in Germany, my life has always been characterized by curiosity and the pursuit of knowledge. After completing my studies in ecotrophology (nutritional sciences) at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, I acquired a sound knowledge of the interactions between nutrition, health and well-being. This formed the basis for my later artistic and psychological studies in the Netherlands and Berlin.
In 2005, I moved to Berlin to pursue a new path in life - after more than 18 years in the German metropolis, I needed to relocate again.
In order to deepen my understanding of human behavior and feelings, I completed a psychological training in Kerkrade, Netherlands, with the topic "creative communication". This experience flowed seamlessly into my art studies at the University of the Arts in Berlin, where I learned how creative processes can promote healing and self-knowledge.
Today I live and work in the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland.

I have presented my work in various renowned exhibitions and events, including:

- Cologne Furniture Fair: Participation in 2007 and 2008, which gave me the opportunity to present my designs to a wide audience.
- Berlin Art Week: In 2012, 2015 and 2018, I was involved with awards at this important art event, which serves as a platform for contemporary artists.
I was also able to take part in various exhibitions, including:
- Galerie Auguststraße, Berlin Mitte: A platform for up-and-coming artists and innovative works.
- Galerie Torstraße, Berlin Mitte: A place of creative exchange and inspiration.
- Bergmannstraße, Berlin Kreuzberg: Here I presented my work in a lively and culturally diverse environment.
Through my artistic practice, I am always looking for new forms of expression to reflect on and question the interplay between people, art and the environment.
